Seaside Point, United States of America
By Michalik_piotr, 2008-05-27 21:01:13

My first time surfing the Cove, even though I lived in Seaside back in '96.  Since I worked in CB I usually would go to shortys or Indian.  Checked out the point/cove Sat, Sun and Mon of Memorial day wknd and finally put on the cold wet

Not Worth It
Thought this place would be nice with a WNW Swell, 9 ft at 13 seconds... boy, was I wrong.. not even worth it... there were a few people out, the waves were breaking all over the place with no consistency...   the waves were bouncing

Rocking at Agate!
The best Oregon Surf I have ever been in... used Magic Seaweed and it predicted the best waves ever. Glad I made the drive out from Albany... The rip at high tide was working and took me out to the break, which was about 200 yards to the south

First in 4 months
The water was pretty brown because of the storm, but there were a bunch of people out. I saw some frost on the drive out to the coast. It was fun, but died down in about an an hour and a half.

from down south
to all the old bitter men of the pnw... you are just pissed off you have to surf freezing water everyday and that you get no respect from the rest of the country... even the great lakes has a NSSA circut. oh and that comment about you actually surfing, riding a 8'6" egg doesnt count. I am looking foward to coming up and taking your waves.

outsiders
See, this is a perfect example of outsiders trying to surf our waves and getting what they deserved. If you're brown and from out of town, don't step foot on NW beaches. What are they anyway? They're like asian/mexicans or something. If guys from California didn't bring surfing to Hawaii in the 50's, they wouldn't even have the sport to enjoy in the first place. They are the howleeys here.
