surfing in British Virgin Islands
Remote. Tranquil. Pristine. Beautiful. The beaches of the British Virgin Islands come in all shapes and sizes, and each one is unique. They are not only beautiful, but are almost always uncrowded and very often deserted. Palm-fringed, white sandy beaches, combined with a translucent ocean that teems with marine life and coral reefs, attract boaters and landlubbers alike. Snorkel, sail, sunbathe, or shell at any one of these coves. Even avid surfers will be thrilled by the long north swells that roll lazily in during the winter months on Tortola's north shore.
The surfing can be good, but you have to pick the right time of year, as the swell is inconsistent.

access to beaches
hey there.
my wife and i are flying out to the beautiful bvi from australia for our honeymoon. can you moor a dingy off shore or do you have to beach them? or is driving the only option in getting to the waves? trying to avoid driving for our holiday.

Boards...
yo you aint gonna find a descent board in Tortola for a cheap price, there is a shop in Road Town, "HIHO" where on average you're looking at spendin anywhere between $300-$600.
