My buddies and I wanna take an epic budget surf trip to zihuatanejo but no matter how many hours i spend researching on the internet I can not for the life of me find any hint of cheap places near a break in zihua or ixtapa. I'm talking like what you should be payin' for a hostel in mexico, roughly

Playa Linda walkable?
Also going to Club Med Ixtapa and wondering if Playa Linda is walking distance. Should we bring our own boards? Not planning to rent a car...
