It is a decent surf spot with a fairly gently sloping bottom. It is not as gentle as Bluff cove by any account and on a large swell you better know what you are doing. On a small swell, it is suitable for beginners that have had some surf zone experience, or, it a good place to get it if you have some more advanced friends to coach you. it is generally not a very popular surf spot (except on a large day).
PV local
Pinto hermosa: Diapers? what the f*ck are you talking about? I never vibe anyone unless they really need a rousting, which should really go for any surf spot that has 1 peak like the cove- We are not Bay Boys, we dont key peoples car or any b.s. like that, we just demand the same respect as any one who spent their whole life surfing a place. Are you the guy who went down the indicator trail 6 years back with his dad and got the sh*t kicked out of him and blew it up all over the news? Sounds like something he would say. if you feel that way about us, go surf pier and stay the f*ck off our peninsula

If You Want To Stand Out?
PV "surfhers" stand out every time they come to Torrance beach to surf. 1st off they suck at surfing, 2nd they are all bark and no bite. 3rd and foremost acting like you own the place when you make your little trip to Torrance Beach (Where you are not wanted). You like to come down to our surf spots, eat at our resturaunts, shop at our stores, and drink at our bars. Go look in the mirror and please be honest with yourself!

catch a few waves, a few rays, make eye contact and aknowledge the majesty of surfing with your fellow brothers, no matter their zip code.Mahalo
