The spot is between TC's and Portuguese Bend, closer to TC's. It's more-or-less on the San Pedro / Rancho Palos Verdes border. Access the same as TC's: Walk from Palms or take the trail down from the far west corner of the South Shores neighborhood. Alternate access: take the trail from below the bluff at the east end of the Ocean Trails development.
The thing is
those spots take care of themselves and the locals are usually nice or will just ignore you. What you don't see until paddling out is the squareness of those barrels, the invisible jagged boulders that you hit while paddling out, the rocks you have to clear before making a section, and the heckle factor of you barno-ing out in front of locals that know where to jump off rocks to get safely to the lineup and where to take off on the wave to enjoy yourself unscathed. Go ahead and surf there, but I bet you wont be back even though its in your backyard.

Your kidding
me really. Cant you just enjoy the coastline and not write stuff on the internet for all to see. What happend to the "find it yourself" mentality. I swear, there are no more secrets because of the stupid internet. Watch this whole side of the hill get overcrowded and peoples windows get knocked out.

Good reef peak
This wave is pretty darned good. Looks similar to Windansea in LaJolla because it is a central peak breaking consistently in the same spot. Tight take-off zone also. Lots of rocks in the lineup, but perfect peak. Locals are definitely a problem here, they've even built a "fort" right in front of the break(ha ha).
If you want to surf it you will almost surely be hassled by some dirt bag from Pedro!!!
