Take the detour to "El Ņuro" from the North Panamerican Highway, make a left turn before reaching the town, 1.7 km to the beach, south side of the pier.
This spot only breaks one or two times a year. Some years don't break at all. A big N or NW swell is needed.
Overview
Atmosphere
The spot is totally uncrowded, only surfed by locals (all people from Lima who have settled in the north shore, including me).
General
The construction of the new pier for the artisan fishermen 2 years ago has shortened the wave by 30 or 50 meters aprox, making it more dangerous, just like happened in Cabo Blanco almost 10 years ago.
