Nice place, good formation and very crowded during the summer weekends (Dec. - Mar). With the proper wind and swell is one of the best waves of the north shore of São Paulo, along with Maresias. Fancy houses at the area, and absolutely no lodging at the beach area. But you can consider staying at very nice and cheap hotels nearby. (Around 20 USD/day with breakfast). Brazil is now a MUST GO place for those who make they money in dollars. With a few bucks you can do a lot here.

- not usually the first choice, but this place can deliver the goods. neighboring camburi is usually better but can get out of control on larger swells. Fat take off and can deliver a fast inside, a good option for the less experieced.
