NOT SO HOT - dont make this a destination spot, but you might swing by the state park on the west side of this tiny town for the best checkout spot IF the conditions are good...gets any offshores that might blowing, but theres really no lineup and can have backwashes coming of the rocks on either side of the bay, this reviewer gives yachats a C-

poopy - Here sharky, sharky, sharky. Otter Rock is way cooler.

Not Really - Not really worth the time and effort for less than mediocre, closed out, mostly onshore beach break. Better much more consistent breaks to the south and north. Extremely sharkey as well. The local fishemen see them all the time and there is a large seal rookery in the area.
