South of Newport city take the road 101 to Yachats (during 25kms approx) and access to the beach through Yachats state park Several peak south and north of the Yachats river

Not Really
Not really worth the time and effort for less than mediocre, closed out, mostly onshore beach break. Better much more consistent breaks to the south and north. Extremely sharkey as well. The local fishemen see them all the time and there is a large seal rookery in the area.
