Additional Surfing Infos
It's a little jetty and you can surf either north side or south. There is a bunch of other little jettys close by and if you go in between 2 you can either go left or right.
  Overview
Atmosphere It's good with a little bit of localism, but just don't drop in on people and you'll be fine.
General It's a good spot with only a tiny bit of localism. In the summer you can't surf between 10-5, but in the winter you can surf whenever you want. I really like it a lot. It's one of my favorite breaks I surf at.

I surfed at Howe St. once this spring and it was pretty good , but last time I checked there a couple days ago the waves were about waist high and still just breaking right on the beach. It didn't even look surfable.

The real deal
This place is mediocre at best. It's mostly good on South swells and the right off the jetty can get pretty good. It is a local favorite for the Bay Head/Pt. Pleasant locals when Jenk's isn't working. It invariably closes out most of the time. This spot is closest to my house so I routinely check it. Won't hold anything over 6'. When it's really good here there are other spots that are less crowded and just as good or better. Still though, I had the best backside barrel (made) of my life off of this jetty so...
