Additional Surfing Infos
This spot is where my family goes for vacation for a week each year in August. I've been trying to find a day when it's been good, and succeeded last August. It was our last day there, my family had gone home. I looked out the balcony door at the beach, and saw beautiful glassy waves breaking consistently. Went out to surf, totally awesome. They were about 3-4ft, occasional 5ft, and fun as all hell. I've never had a more fun session time in the water than I did that day.

this spot does not have heavy locals, so don't believe that comment. unless you consider the several overly tanned middle schoolers that work for the resort locals. you'll never see em past labor day anyway, since they have to return home to PA. the biggest issue here is having some old guy cast a line near you, or one of the rangers complaining that you drifted past the post. spot is great.

Diamond Beachh
This place is great for beginners, i learned to surf here. Just gotta watch out for the surf lessons that go on there, and the swimmers that occasionally 'drift' into the surf zone.
