The north side tends to bowl off the pier, while the south side tends to be a longer, but mushier, wave; however, on large cold fronts, the north side's blown out, but the south side's got the bowl.
nevermind!
I was seriously considering try to surf a little while I was in Naples, a friend of mine was teaching me while I lived in SC, however now that I see how rude most of you are to people attempting to surf (like you should have a monopoly on the surf in FL!) I'll probablly rethink my decision. Thank you for being so inclusive of people who'd like to try what you make out to be the best thing ever! Jerks

marco
marco has some sweet surf..if your going to surf marco try south beach or residents. The surf peels down the beaches and gives a long ride.
