101 south, south of the restaraunts in Cardiff. Big huge parking lot off road with bathrooms and lifegaurd tower. Lots of small rocks above water. |

| | Sucks out on take off in certain area. Don't be caught there or you will eat it. Can take higher tides on a bigger day, but mostly a low tide only spot. Nice occasionally long left that can peel for a while and a short right. Left can have a really nice short tube section off the take off. Can only handle up to 20 guys, since take off zone is so small, after that, don't bother paddling out. Fun shorebreak on high tide, not to high or you will surfing the rocks on shore (watch out for gnarly back waves). Very popular sponging spot, so if you surf, you might be out numbered here (not too much, but can be pretty thick with spongers). Has some kelp but can get blown easier than other cardiff spots. Easy but longer paddle out, but if your not in the impact zone, then you can get back out no problem. Has bathrooms so don't worry about crapping your wetsuit.

Fairly mellow, given that it is in Cardiff, but can be pretty aggressive sometimes. Its really nice because you have a view of Palomar Mountain on clear days and during the winter you can see snow and stuff, looks really cool. Really fun scene in the parking lot, lots of cool people, sometimes you get peopl doing some funky stuff around there. |
