Gator Beach Access |
| |
It's pretty much closed to the general public, being that it's on a military base. You have to be a US NAVY SEAL or in the military, or know someone who can get you in there. They have a nice private beach all to themselves right in front of their barracks where they hold BUDS training. They have bonfire pits, fixed barbecue stands and they have a beach cabana where there are some tables for the beach parties. It's a fast beach break south of the Hotel Del Coronodo and north of Silver Strand State Beach. They have armed gaurds posted on both ends of the beach so you can't just walk past the armed military police unless you have a deathwish. |

Overview |
| |
Atmosphere |
Well if you're not in the Navy your out of luck here. You probably don't have any buisness being there. But if you're in the NAV and you get stationed in San Diego this and a couple spots do exist. The other spot is BREAKERS BEACH on NAS North Island. So if you want to escape the crowds and want to get into the panties of that cute Navy Nurse bring her to this spot and your gauranteed some action. It's not all that great but it's uncrowded. No civilians. No tourists. It's a good and a bad thing, because it means no hot looking women either. So bring your own eye candy and throw a party. Bring the beer and the wooden pallats, and have the girls take care of the food. |

General |
It's not all that great. The wave quality is poor but it's just like Coronodo, Mission, or any other sandy beachbreak for that much. So it makes it a good place to learn or just have a little fun. The more experienced will long for more. So it's not really all that worth it unless the beaches are all crowded and you don't want to mess around with the traffic. Good if you're training there and want a quick session though before going home. Good place when you get off of work early on a hot day and want to hit the beach, if you work on Naval Amphibious Base or Naval Air Station North Island. |
