RIP Pete
All those jetskis with all the rescue gear and world class watermen. All those camera men and vidio men catching every move. Even a helicopter, out of all that not ONE person out of all that could think to make sure Pete got in OK,even if he did wave a ride off.

Death at GT
The surfer who died yesterday was Peter Davi, a monterey local. He was paddling it with Anthony Tashnick while about 12 tow teams also went at it. Apparantly his leash broke while caught inside and he drowned trying to swim to shore amidst mountains of white water. Lifeguards spent aroud a half hour to revive him but to no avail. Sad but true. Just another life given in pursuit of the ultimate pleasure...
