This is a beautiful spot. It has often the most consistent swells of Galicia and works in various conditions. It is one of the best beach breaks in Galicia and Spain. A lot of competition are held here. The beach has numerous peaks. There is a channel on the right.
Atmosphere
Can get pretty wild during the winter.
General
It is a very beautiful spot

Gracias chicos de Pantin! - Hola! I wanted to say thank you to some of the really sweet locals who offered to help us (me, my man and our 2 year old daughter) out when we visited Pantin recently. Our brakes went on the van and we had Emilio and his friend offering to help us and another car full of locals . Made a shit situation completely bearable by being so kind! Hope if you ever come to the UK you will get the same treatment - you will here at my home- Bantham...Gracias...

Consistent long waves, good location - A more experienced friend and I visited Pantin in June 2017. When the weather was good, the water and the waves were good. They didn't get especially big, but there were consistent swells and really even breaks, and once the waves broke, they stretched out for ages. It was a great beach for me (a beginner) and my friend (surfing for five years) since the waves were good closer to the shore and further out. There's also a rip on the right that'll carry you out to the bigger waves. When we were there over a weekend, it wasn't crowded at all. There were maybe 10 of us. You have to watch out when the wind picks up since the waves get more aggressive and start dumping; even the experienced locals told us not to surf here on those days. The good thing was this beach was so close to Valdoviño (lots of fun) and Villareal (the waves are *really* far out, though) that you still had options with a car.
