Dominant Swell and Wind Direction :
Usually the swell comes from the south west in Perth. It probly varies down south and up north but i dont know. Wind is usually east in the mornings and the sea breeze comes any time between 11am-2pm. If it is west in the morning its usually still worth going down unless thers a big storm cos the winds only go about 4-8kn

The POWER State
WA Rocks I know as I have lived all around Australia and for powerful down the line waves nowhere comes close in OZ. Queensland has the easiest waves, NSW the most consistant, victoria has size but lacks power. Wa is the shit. Long drives, shitloads of flies, Hot flange.
