Park car at the little breakfast place and walk down the foot path. This break can really work well with concistant waves peeling past the lagoon on its days. This wave has a ledge and a half can even suck dry so watch it.

i dont know why all yous are frothin about point coz in summer it is almost always working and its empty me and my mate are always the first and only ones there and yeah sometimes some disabled surfers might decide to sit in the channel pretending to be hard core catching the shoulder of the wave then when there done being super cool they paddle back to the alley and talk them selves up with the other surfers with disabilities

dear beep beep it is intresting that you think point is a waste of time when your saying that it just sucks up and fades maybe you should check it on a north easterly swell instead of heading down to collaroy with all the other kooks

i boog here every time it breaks and thers always some surfer cnts sitting in the channel and catching the end of the wave and as soon as some boogers go out they paddle into the good section and dog it. If you go inside go some waves ya kooks.
