Characteristics
There are a handful of the best beach breaks and a couble of reefs along this section of coast that just goes off. Firstly you have Manly with all the beginners and kooks but get an early at Queenscliff at the north end of the beach and its perfect then theres the reef around the headland called Fairy Bower I think that consists of race tracks, FB and deadmans that breaks onto big sections of rock. As you go north the beach in general just get better, Freshwater where the first person ever surfed in Oz, then Curl Curl seriously heeavy beach break - this beach let me know a few times what it does, then DeeWhy, a nice point break on the bigger days, heavy locals. Then Nomansland and Longreef, top bomby out back great on the big days with long boards out back

Freshwater beach, Australia

Tiny
Smal righthander from just south of the clubhouse which held up enough due to westerly winds to enjoy a 20sec waist high mal ride. THe tide dropped, flags went up and I went home.

Few good Lefts
Had a pretty good sesh out at N Curly, were a few people out, couldnt be bothered paddling out the back and waiting after a few heavy nights and sore arms from wakeboarding. Went the shorey (which was a bit out, kinda the normal break in 3' surf)

Going off!
Went out around 4pm, was crowded as shit but i paddled down from North Curly down into Mid and found a nice bank with only a few guys around. Caught some great lefts, nearly got barrelled, but some prick on a bodyboard pushed the lip down on me!! D

North Narra
The North Narra crew are to be respected but are generally pretty good and not too agro unless you do something silly. However there is a bloke at North Narra who wears a green and black sleeve length rashie and dark hair who has a habit of doing cutbacks to close to people paddling under waves. He ran over me and my mate last year, but we kept our cool. Nothing serious, but makes you want to wait in the car park with a baseball bat.One day he will do it to the wrong person and it will get ugly. Its a shame, the water should be fun.He brings the rep of the whole crew down.
