Lovely set up, more than just surf. Good food, accomodation, nice people. Best break sits 50m off-shore, infront of a dozen guest-houses, usually full with surfers. Crowds from dawn till dusk. Water temp is ultra-warm. Consistantly 2-3 foot, maybe the odd 4-5 foot day.

Surf Lanka
Just got back from a short but sweet surf vacay in Hikkaduwa. Like they said, good waves for the beginner and expert was well as good parties. If anyone out there is looking for someone to point them in the right direction I have a great connection. I'm adding this becasue this guy is qenuine, knowledgable, and a local surfer who is well respected within the community. if you are a guy you should pay no attention to girls who write good stuff about the Mambo fuckers. offcourse they are friendly to all the girls because the majority of girls coming to hikkaduwa dont surf just party and the little Mambo beachboys want to get laid so they suck up to all the girls and pretend to be mellow rasta boys but they arent! just aggresive lill bastards. thats the way it is
