This is an experienced surfers spot.You have two options to enter to the break.One by the rocks and calculating the sets and is nearer to it but is more dangerous, and the other one is nearby and is larger and you will recieve all the waves(you will be duckdiving all the time)but there wont be any rock. There is a large place where you can park without any problem

La Barra de Maldonado es el mejor pico de la costa uruguaya. Cuando bombea el Atlantico rompe una derecha con fondo de piedra alucinante...tambien se forma una izquierda con fondo de arena que no tiene nada que envidiarle a la derecha. Solo hay surfers en el agua y el crowd es intenso en verano y pocos los fines de semana durante el invierno.

Soetimes is a worlclass wave, 6-9 feet glassy, with tubular sections, not often.
