Drive along Dr. Antonio Gomes de Barros Avenue and you can't miss it. Very easy to find, the avenue is right on the beach. |

Atmosphere |
Very good spot. On a good day, the waves can start breaking all the way on a reef about 500 meters from the beach and sometimes you can ride it all the way into the inside. It is guaranteed to give you a long ride. Lots of manoeuvres here! At the end of the day your legs are going to be a bit tired. Be ready for a long paddle if you want to make it all the way to the outside. The wave is not very powerful, so the take-off is ok.
Even on not so good days, this is a great spot for hot dog surfing.
Very beautiful beach, clear warm water, coconut trees, with the contrast of the modern buildings along the beach. |

The atmosphere here is competitive, but there is enough room for everybody.
Watch your stuff on the beach and around your vehicle, thefts happen here sometimes.
If you respect everybody and hold your own, you will be alright. |
