Mariscal - Try to surf early in the morning, you allways could get at least one good wave.

The waves are good, between 0.5 m to 2 meters, the water is very clean, you can see fishs and with luck, even delfins... The better condition (I guess...) is swell from east and wind from northwest.

Take care with the "tainha" fishing in the winter time (May/June/July), the fishermen are very agressive with the surfers, and the surf and others water sports are forbbiden in almost all beaches of the Santa Catarina State at this time. So, try to eat a tainha that's is a good fish !!!
