You need to be a professional Tow-in surfer for surfing this extreme dangerous spot. You can get the Jets and go from the beach for 10-15 minutes. One of the bigest wave of Brazil.
This kamikaze surfing spot is very, very dangerous. You need to take some tow-in class for going there. dont stay in the wall of the wave durring a barrell cause you will be sucked up by the wave and the concecuences can be fatal (you might died).

Overview
Atmosphere
No panic is extremely necessary. Pure adrenaline. for tow-in big riders only!!!! innumeros number of people had die here, hopefully not any surfer yet.
General
This is considered the most POWERFULL and DANGEROUS wave in brasil!! (much more than Ilha dos Lobos), the swell comes from a 230 fts(70mrts) of deep and suddenly it`s stopped by this flat rocks reef this makes a really powerfull and big wave, when the wave breals its really shallow (0,5mtrs / 1,5 feet of deep) and fast.
Gringos
Let the GRINGOS think that our waves are poor, it's better for us. This way we won't have problems with HAOLES and will keep surfing our good waves alone.

laje da jagua in southern brazil, state of santa catarina.
The wave at Laje da Jagua is amazing. This anonymous last comment is funny, 'cause he didn't go there to check it out in a good big day. Only for tow-in or good kamikazes . Nice spot. see ya!!!

wrong!!!!
brazil is not known for big waves of course and it is not known for much at all but you are wrong in one case not all of it is that small as you think. i have a house in santa in and i spend allot of the year there and swells in that region of garopaba through imbituba is a waves with a very nice size. the normal swell that hit there is from head to 2 ft over head on good day head in a half to double over head. and on epic days double in a half to triple over head. Soooooo my comclusion is that it is not really that small it isnt rare to catch a double overhead day there in the good seasons
