From Bahía Blanca take route 3 and then follow the green signs, you'll have to turn right before Dorrego. If you are coming from the North, just after Dorrego you'll have to turn left. Just follow the green signs to Monte Hermoso.
You can park your car anywhere on the street, it'll be safe. Low tide is always smaller than mid and high tide and the bottom can be rocky with sand. If during your stay a Sudestada (strong suddern winds) appears, then you should expect nice offshore conditions early next morning (wind may change at about 10am).

Atmosphere
I'm from Bahía Blanca and i always surf this spot in summer when a swell comes in (not too often). It's a very short tide though. The best swells are South-East swells, these days you should expect an annoying cross-shore current from East to West. I always end surfing by the espigón oeste (west-pier). That's also where most of the surfers surf. Don't worry about crowd nor localism since there are almost no locals at all, you'll never find more than 10-15 surfers all allong the beach.

I can't talk much about the quality of the wave because i don't have a lot of waves to compare it too. But can be a very fun wave when the conditions arise.
It never getts tubbey. Just a short, fat and slow wave.
