me and my dad went to spring maid and was like WTF no waves at all so we cruise down the bullavard to 64th and we paddle out at first theirs awsome sets and no wind at all but it went down hill right after i did a cutback and broke my left fin off More...
yea it isn't the best but for around here its a good spot to check up on

The description listed on this site makes 64th Ave sound like a decent + surf spot. The photo looks real enough (a 3 foot closeout). But in reality, you would be very disappointed to see what this spot breaks like on a daily basis: knee-high, closeout beach break full of semi-agro, delusional short-boarders. My reality-based description of this spot is bleak: kook-noodle soup for the soul-surfer's goal! Star-Trek and Chinese food sounds good right about now.
