Pretty chill. Just be respectful of the locals. you will know who they are instantly.
General
There is almost always something to ride here. When it's working out of the ESE for a few days and then the wind backs off it's unreal.

Death by drownings - I am an experienced bodyboarder. I am NOT a local, but a visitor.
During the week that I stayed in Kauai, 4 tourist drowned. Therefore,
Please be AWARE that KAUAI has the highest drowning rate in Hawaii.
This is a good spot for bodyboarding. I have a blast, but nonetheless tourists have DIED here.

- super fun waves, stayed on kauai for 2 weeks, and this place was chest-head high+ every day. One day the tradewinds backed off, and it was glassy barrels all morning. Kind of unpredictable since it's a beach break. Locals kill it, and surf to the far left of the bay. If you wanna catch some peaks to yourself, paddle more towards the middle of the bay. When there are waves nowhere else, count on this place...show some aloha in the lineup
