go towards gulf breeze on your map from paensacola. Foolow the map over two bridges, enter Gulf breeze follow the road till you get to a highway entrance with a huge sign that says pensacola beach. Follow high way to the beach turn right towards Ft. Pickens. Follow road all the way to the last parking lot. Park.....and walk.
entrance fee into Ft. Pickens. For a good look at the small summertime lines watch "Jaws 2" it was filmed there. In one sceen you can see the lines rollin through. Much better waves in the Winter!Look for the boat docks on the right and surfers' cars parked along the road. Walk south along the pass to the east jetty, and paddle out. A 15-minute walk from your car gets you there, and local knowledge gets you surfing. The wave is a shape-shifting peak that bounces off the left side of the east jetty.
DUDE!?..............
For one you can only get there by boat now or walk and camp there due to hurricane Ivan tking the road out. Also like the guy below me said there is no jetty and there never has been. Your probably dreaming or thinking of somewhere else. .... Also that bodyboarder. no one cares about what waves you like to surf.

the point
yeah i live in pensacola. the point is great in the winter and colder months but in the summer you do not want to go because of sharks. the winter surf is still worth it though
