Best to surf it right by one of the creeks that flow into the ocean. There is also a nice break about half a mile to the left of the parking lot. That Break is Called Cannon Balls.

Really consistent during fall, winter, and spring. Just takes an hour to get to it.

don't contact ryan if your in kodiak!! he wants to suck your dick!! if you want waves on kodiak, go to the other side of woody island. or wait for a big east swell and hit up the cobble points in the deep bays off the road system. or try the little reef in outer mill bay (not boneyards...that is a piece of shit!), other then that your out of luck. everything else is full of rocks or is a sad closeout. the real waves are on islands off kodiak. better off in southeast AK. lots of surf if your willing to look around...but watch out for desparate fags like 'ryan', they will try and butt rape you!!!
