Go to the Sea of Galilee ("Kinneret") & drive to the north ease corner of the lake. From there drive south on the ring-road until you hit the large public beach called "Dugit" on the right. You have to get there in the late afternoon when the south-west wind kicks-in across the lake. If your lucky you`ll see 50cms to 80cms high waves (measured on the face). They`re rideable if your a fast experienced stsnd-up surfer or a "sponger". Best thru` the summer to November
It`s an inland phenomina & it`s @ the most holy lake in the world! The beach is packed thru` the summer/autumn so sponge surfboatds & boogeys are the best for everyone. You can park right near the shoreline.Take all your rubbish with you when you leave.
