WHY POST THIS SPOT? - It really pisses me off when people post spots such as these which are local classics ruining it for everyone!? The whole point of a "secret spot" is so that the locals can enjoy it and share it with outsiders who arn't going to post it on websites such as these! I have nothing against people surfing there non local spots but dicks who take the adventure out of surfing and post the spot in sites such as these shouldn't be trusted with anything at all!

chill out peeps - i surf in cali and 8-10 people in a lineup is nothing. theres no such thing as a secret spot anymore. theres always gonna be some kooks in the lineup, but we were all kooks once right. theres plenty of waves to go around if theres 100 guys out.so all you brits stop your bitchin about your average spot. heavy my ass.

to john - John, you've had the general area, i think its about time you got searching, no respect for people who want to surf these spots but wont put in the effort.....

About time someone gave directions - Someone that has ACTUALLY surfed this spot please give directions. Its never going to get crowded anyway - Brits dont charge. It will just be Saffas and Ozzies coming over from London to show the rest hows its done.

not a picture of "not the real box" - Well done to matey who added photo 6, and with the well constructed caption:

"This is the pencannow point, not breaking, but this is the location
Here it actually is, not breaking but the place it is"

Besides talking like Yoda, the poor fool also seems unable to read a map. He decided to travel to somewhere where he obviously isn't a local, then posted a "reveal all" picture of the wave (or rather of no waves at all). And after all that hassle, he didn't even go to the right spot hahahahaha. I truly hope he checks the place on a regular basis, hoping for that magic day when he too can surf "The Box." If only he'd kept walking........ off the cliff.
