Works best after the Grecale (NE wind) blows, which isn't that often but produces a proper swell the day after, when the wind will usually, in my experience, totally drop. The wave will break on the reef and run all the way down the cliff.
Also works on a westerly wind and swell, the peak isn't sheltered but it is on the inside by the cliff
Like most spots on gozo not many surf here as far as I know, so you will probably have it to yourself.
