When the Weathers right, there is Great Surfing down in Porto Da Cruz, used regularly by the locals and they should know the best spot on the Island.
Take care of the rocks and the strong current.. no lifeguards here.

porto da cruz sucks????
im a surfer for 9 years, and im a local surfer in madeira for 5 years...porto da cruz is a place where i surf a lot...and it can only be called a shithole or the worst wave by stupid amature surfers that cant ride the wave when the swell comes...oh and by the way...for the german dude, since when do you know shit about surf when you only got lakes in germany you dick!
