Take a roadmap and look very well the weather forecasts and don't be afraid to ask to the surfes about infos for the spot.Sardinian are very kind and hospital people!!!
If I get any info for accomodation i'll write another comment!!

90% of the known spots in Sardinia are signed in this site.
Water temperature isn't too cold so a 4-3 gbs wetsuit is the best for every situation,for rocky spot my advice is to take with you a pair of winter reef boots.
Another advice,place your headquartier in Cagliari and rent a car is the only way to cacht waves in good conditions.Mediterranean sea isn't ocean so frequency is low and depends of what sides of the island is going to work
