Carcans waves
Hi
I've been in Carcans surfing (bodyboard) in summer. I'm afraid there are not very good waves (I have very low level and even not enough for me). Someone said in October is much better. I think is not a place for high level surfers -and only for surfing-, but a very good place for vacation, good food & wine, sun & wind... and some surfing (especially softboard & bodyboard).

On a good day!
Right so I have surfed Carcans Plage for the past 8 years of my life and in that time have experienced all types of conditions. It is a gamble as to whether or not your going to get your desired surf as I have first hand experienced waves too powerful to surf and the following day a completely flat sea. What I would say is when its good its fucking good, when it bad its fucking bad - I would say its 50/50.

in august`?
Hey you all!I want to go south of France at finals of august. Is it recommendable and are there enough waves? I´m quite short on time and money so i don´t wanna go there and find myself with a f**king flat sea or poor baby waves. Please mail me about your experience or give me some other information.Thank you!
