check it on a huge day - I've been there in semptember this year and it was really
huge... up to 3m waves and higher!

experienced surfers?!?! - I wouldn't say that's an experienced surfers spot. Instead, it's good for beginners because waves aren't hollow, neither fast.

I love this wave... - That's right...Despite it's mellowness, the take off zone can be treacherous when it's firing.
I broke a board when air-dropping a nasty set wave a few years back...
I remember paddling for ages with the pieces of foam, then grabbing another board and returning for a few more... ;-)

Weird - I found this take-off quite scary actually. It was a big day, certainly head and a half to double over on the outside sets. You can't really see sets coming cos they can be hidden by the harbour wall. It feels too close to the harbour when you drop in and there's a very shallow ledge to your left. Only once you're heading right does it mellow out. Can be very hollow near the wall.
