In Playa de las Americas ask around for a place called Patch (any P.R. should know exactly where you mean). When you get there you will see a strip of bars, at the bottom is the coast. When you walk down to the bottom you will see "El Bunker" to your left (It's infront of a new Mcdonalds). It is very close to La Izquierda.
In lower tides there are some exposed rocks that can be annoying but don´t let them get in your way. When catching the waves just sit in front of the rocks and be ready to drop into a bowl. After getting through the first bowl about 29 meters on, there is another very shallow bowl section, watch out for this as it can be painfull if you get nailed. Also in big swells this spot is Very powerful and getting out can be hard if you aren't the best duck diver.
Overview
Atmosphere
In good conditions just watching this spot can send the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!!! The best thing is that most locals go to La Izquierda so this spot usually has vacant waves, so you can just go out there relax and catch some beautiful waves.
General
This spot is almost ideal although I prefer rights, but the sick barrels compensate. I love this spot but sadly during the summer the wave quality deteriorates.
