los charcos
a short walk(300m)around the corner from las cucharas is the point of los charcos which is worth a visit. mind you you have to time it right or you will just get sucked right back onto the beach some 100m back. best thing to do is watch for the young locals and to get in ,do as they do and just launch yourself off the wall when the swell is just right. if you get blasted back to beach then the easiest way back is to just swim to your left until you reach the wall and climb out there, walk back to the point and start all over again.

look out for windsurfers
This place has a couple of nice reefs, but look out for sharp windsurfing fins.........they are every where!!
