The break is a good left hander. It breaks into deep water around the edge of a very shallow reef. The wave walls, then barrells on some sections before wrapping back into the reef. A fun wave (90m) which could be much longer with a good southerly swell.

Sail the Seas - I saw the potential of this break as well, being it's by the only "market" on the whole island. To me it looked like there were a few too many coral heads in the way, but maybe if it got big, but really, how often will that happen on this side of the island? Port Resolution is the call if you want decent waves, but expect to surf the funky village peak most of the time. To surf the point (not the ancorage bay point) you will need a board that you would use for Sunset Beach, Hawaii. Laugh if u want, but after you've been there you'll know what I mean. This is FAR from a perfect wave though.
