Additional Surfing Infos
This place was one of the easiest places I've surfed ever.Park car run down the ramp paddle out on your left of the break. If you get caught inside just get out & run back up the beach & paddle out to the left of the break.Takes about 5mins from Raglan. Lock up your car. Plenty of locals here. Smile, have a yack with 'em & youre in.
  Overview
Atmosphere Its a place you can have 2 or 3 sessions in a day if the sea breeze does not come up in the afternoon.Best surfed in the morning, but can turn on all day if wind stays in the eastern quarter. Swell does not have to be big for it to work unlike Manu & Whale Bays. So when points are flat go here, its an easy option.
General We had some great waves here. Take your turn & you'll find some wackable walls to work with. Definately a fun wave. You won't often find a green room here but some nice ramps to smack.
