This beach is quite long and has a few breaks all the way along it, but the best is the right breaking on the far left hand end of the beach. On a good day though, there are lefts and rights galore all the way along.
Atmosphere
The shifting sandbank makes this wave different every time you go there. I've seen it hold triple overhead and break cleanly.
General
Definatly worth a look

Just another noah story for the Conspicuous archives - Surfed here in Jan. Didn't get it good because of crap swell and summer SE winds. The water down there is so clear you can see everything in the water. Seaweed monsters moving as dark shapes kept me on edge with thoughts of the attack back in mid 2010. After an hour in the water I looked behind to see a 10-12 feet long torpedo shaped object about 20 meters away gliding through the water with speed. Seen plenty of dolphins and it wasn't that. Didn't hang around to get a better look.. Arms moving like a paddle steamer the whole way in..

- Well it was only a matter of time. Guy attacked on the weekend, thanks to a bit of luck he survived. Be careful out here kids.

- oh I've been everywhere man. Been west coast south coast north west coast, yeah I've been everwhere man. But the south coats is lovely. Too hard for the city and too south for the trendy margarets crew. Oh what a life to live south. It will last only a few years longer though. Mark these words. Over run pretty soon.
