This beach is quite long and has a few breaks all the way along it, but the best is the right breaking on the far left hand end of the beach. On a good day though, there are lefts and rights galore all the way along.
Atmosphere
The shifting sandbank makes this wave different every time you go there. I've seen it hold triple overhead and break cleanly.
General
Definatly worth a look

- oh I've been everywhere man. Been west coast south coast north west coast, yeah I've been everwhere man. But the south coats is lovely. Too hard for the city and too south for the trendy margarets crew. Oh what a life to live south. It will last only a few years longer though. Mark these words. Over run pretty soon.

All Lies - Locals are very friendly people (that's a compliment you fuckwits!).Localism does not exist here. Why might you ask? Because you may well be the only one in the water! Waves are good only certain times of year (Autumn through to Winter). You can surf either end of the beach or dead smack in the middle. Shark stories are more than likely exagerated. Lies or not - you will feel nervous and relieved to hit dry land. The last time I surfed here, it was pretty good - but I did wait for someone else to turn up. The scenery is AWESOME, but like most Southern Ocean breaks, conditions can change at the drop of a hat. Better off in Margies/Yals or Dunsborough where you will have consistent and way better waves and you can mingle with all of those lovely Victorian "Locals".
