My Dads Rich - My names Jason and I'm Rich. My Dad's a Neurosurgeon and we have lived in Torquay for a long time. I go to Geelong Grammer. Dad was saying at Dinner the other night, he treats a lot of surfers that ride waves at Point Impossible because they are forced to hyperextend their lower backs on those big long silly surfboards. He also said research showed that they develop tunnel vision and dont see other surfers in the water. Dad pointed his dinner knife at me and said, "if I ever catch you, on so much foam and fibreglass, you must leave the house, go to the garage and strike your penis several times with a hammer." He then said, "Son, their stupidity is paying for your education". Thanks Longboarders...

- Used to surf here a fair bit with my old man. I personally don't think the waves are the best for esky lidding. I surfed both insides and outside and the wave you get for a lid isn't really worth the paddle to outsides in my opinion. That said, had some fun rides there and hey, it's always good to get out and get a wave. Also, never surfed it on a big swell so I can't comment on that. Also, I think it's bullshit hanging it on others who ride different surf craft to yourself be it a short board, esky lid or mal. It's just immature.

Posso's Is A Longboard Wave - Posso's is a great wave on its day, I surfed it tonight at 6-7 ft on yes you guessed it a Mal and had a ball.
The wave at Posso lends itsself to longboards and SUPS thats why we all go there.
If your on a shorty head to Bells, Winki or Beacon etc.
You know the old saying dont take a nife to a gun fight, use the correct equipment for the correct wave.
The locals call Posso's Chicken Reef, because thats where short boarders go when Bells etc gets too much size enough said!!!!!
