Tweed Bar Access |

The tweed bar is located in front of the tweed river and near Snapper rocks and D'bah (2mins from snapper).

You can paddle from the south side of the Tweed River at D-Bar most of the time. When it gets big it is the Gold Coast's number one tow in spot. |

| | Park your car on pt. danger or d'bah and either paddle out from the wall or get a ski out there, it gets heavy and sometimes you'll see tiny little figures getting whipped in. Get local knowledge before goin out. Watch the cam on coastalwatch at d'bah and see if it's working or not.

You can park your car at D-bar. Tow in or have a big board.

When Snapper and D'bah are absolutely crancking, this place should be twice the size and triple the power.
Try not to get eaten by any bronze whalers (tweed river is packed with whalers and tigers).

This spot can be super hard core.
Since the new sand by pass system was put in place, which produced the famous Super Bank, there
has been some big days. This wave peels off from a huge peak left & right, sometimes you will find a 15ft wave breaking in 5ft of water grrrrrrrrrrr. |
