Additional Surfing Infos
Park your car on pt. danger or d'bah and either paddle out from the wall or get a ski out there, it gets heavy and sometimes you'll see tiny little figures getting whipped in. Get local knowledge before goin out. Watch the cam on coastalwatch at d'bah and see if it's working or not.
+
You can park your car at D-bar. Tow in or have a big board.
  Overview
Atmosphere When Snapper and D'bah are absolutely crancking, this place should be twice the size and triple the power.
Try not to get eaten by any bronze whalers (tweed river is packed with whalers and tigers).
+
This spot can be super hard core.
Since the new sand by pass system was put in place, which produced the famous Super Bank, there
has been some big days. This wave peels off from a huge peak left & right, sometimes you will find a 15ft wave breaking in 5ft of water grrrrrrrrrrr.
  General Sick and dangerous spot.
+
It's for surfers that have surfed a lot of serious
waves. The biggest waves surfed on the Gold Coast have been on the Bar.

hectic pic
back in '01 i was out with byron namenji. it was like the left at the island. 4-6 breaking about 2 times wider than it was tall, blowouts that were ear drum bursteningly huge. caught one wave on shoulder[so i thought] got bazzad for solid 3 secs before getting spat out. next wave, bit deeper, snapped my double stringer board!, snapped my leash!, lost both flippers!, didnt loose my wettie :), got washed in though the mouth, and it was overhead in mouth! got well cut on the deebah wall!
