Primorsky Krai also known as Primorye, is a federal subject of Russia (a krai). Primorsky means "maritime" in Russian, hence the region is sometimes referred to as Maritime Province.
The administrative city is Vladivostok, a good start location for surf trips into this area.

Fun - looks like there are some really nice spots in Primorsky Krai. I reckon I'd surf there, my only concern is the water temperature - just how cold is it there and dangers of sharks?
