Turn into a bumpy road from the ByPass and head to Turtle Island. Pass the smelly garbage depot and just keep going straight until you find yourself in a place that looks like a rocky desert. Go to the beach houses which comes into sight soon.

Locals ask you to pay for passing the bumpy road. Don't pay too much and not too less.

Too much wind - 10-15 kt onshore wind made it a pretty bad day at usually glassy Serangan.  Waves were all blown over and paddle out reminded us of Ocean Beach, San Francisco.  We were the only 2 surfers out there surfing just before high tide.
