This surf spot is in the North of Mahe island. Take the direction of Glacis, the surf spot is just after North Point Guest House and les Manguiers Hotel. You can park your car close to the surf spot.
Carana in Mahe island is an exposed beach break. Summer offers the best conditions for
surfing. Offshore winds are from the South. The best swell direction is from the North but
during the SouthEast trade wind, you can find some sloppy waves, always good when there is
nothing to surf. Carana beach is not an epic surf spot as well.
The beach break offers both left and right hand waves.
When it's working here, it can get crowded.
