	Le Wharf (ancien port) Access
	From Nouakchott, go to the beach and make a left in direction of industrial area and ask for the old jetty. Close to gas industry and "ciment of Mauritania" Access is forbidden to the jetty, so find the hole in the wall on the left or follow the fishing men which go the jetty

	Additional Surfing Infos
	Offshore winds during the whole winter with a swell between 3 feet to 6 feet. Short and fast right wave. Its also a very nice place for fishing!! No surfers here, you will be the only surfer and also the only european on the beach.
	Overview
	Atmosphere	If you want some good surf go to far north (Maroc and Western Sahara) or far south (Sénégal). You have some good swell in Mauritania from november to february but not any good spot to catch it. But if you have the time to, you may drive a 4x4 on the infinite beach and find the right place, who knows??
	General	Get all the materiel you need, the next surf shop is thousand of miles away!!!!
