When you are in the town of Sal Rei, on Boavista look for a taxi that will bring you to Ervatão (famous beach) this will cost you about 5000 cape verdian escudos(50 dollars). Or you can rent a car and try to find the place. 4*4 is required. Its hard to find on your own; you can also hire a guide to come with you and show you were it is. A good guide that will arrange everithing is a cape verdian called Val. Ask for him in town, everyone knows him. negotiate the price with him. |

Atmosphere |
A beautiful place. you surf and you are looking at one of the most amazing sceneries, crowds are not a problem. Hardly anyone surfing there in winter but in summer you might encounter other traveling surfers. Don't bleed in the water, bull-sharks, tiger-sharks and small cazones are arround. |
