surfing in AB - i have a beach house in apollo bay and the best surf is at the harbour wall or out near the breakwater. the best place is the breakwater. my friends and i we jump off the pier and we always see stingrays, but they wont hurt you. it's fun jumping off the pier, you can jump off sea side or the harbour side. but don't jump at low tide coz u'll break a leg or ur neck. best swell is around winter time. gets pretty cold in the winter.there's also swell at kennet ans skenes or further towards wild dog.

Not for surfing - If you are learning find go there, if it gets bigger you can't surf it, it just closes out in shallow water, if they havent dredged the harbour mouth for a bit you can get an alright ride of the end of the breakwater. If you are more serious go further along the Great ocean road to marengo or go back towars lorne a bit to skene creek or on a good day smythes creek
