Additional Surfing Infos |
| | Surfed by locals, this wave was revealed to the world surfing community in 1997. Truely awesome, bigger, more hollow, and more dangerous than Pipeline: get the picture? Surf here at your own risk. At the take off : do NOT hesitate, *go* or stay in the channel.

Overview |
| |
Atmosphere |
From April to September it is crowded on the weekends and when the wind is right it gets crowded during the week also; we can thank Gotcha and Surfer Magazines for that! |
| |
General |
"I went there as a newcomer to the surfing world, unaware of the reputation it holds to most. I surfed it on it's biggest swell at the same time as Peter Mel and Strider Waselewski (as shown in some surf mags) in july 2001, and I must say that the American and local surfers I met there were complete arseholes and treated people who may not be at the highest level as some kind of imposters. But let me just say that he who takes it on as an amateur is all the more braver because he is not a good as others, so lads you aint some superior tribe, you are just inbred!!" |
